Yoooooo…
I been working on our website to sell gear to meet some of the needs for my Student Athletes. Man, I gotta tell you — it has been a continuing journey.
I built 3 sites with 2 companies on 2 different platforms, all trying to keep the cost down for the kids while still being able to make a profit so we can do what I said we’d do: sell gear to buy gear.
I’ve been building and building and building — not for perfection, but to getter done. To start making money so I/we can do the things we believe should be done for the kids, the student athletes. Shoes when they need them. Knee and elbow pads. Water bottles. An end-of-season break bread fest. A banquet at the end of the year.
Two Sides. One Mission.
There are two sides to what we’re building here.
Falcons Sports is for the kids. Everything on that side goes back to the student athletes — their gear, their needs, their future.
AllHustleFaith is me. All me. Who I am. But I know many who are AllHustleFaith — people doing what they need to do to live, to grind, to make it.
The Bigger Picture: The Travel Team.
Here’s what I haven’t said enough out loud — but it needs to be said.
I can’t mass reach out to philanthropists. I can’t wait on grants. I gotta make the money. And that’s exactly what AllHustleFaith is built to do.
AHF is my retirement plan — but not retirement in the way most people think about it. I’m not trying to stop. I’m trying to not have to report to the building every day. No more classroom. Just sports. Just soccer. Retire to the game, not from it.
And when that day comes, I want to have enough — alongside my pension — to fund the birth of our travel team. That’s the dream living inside of AHF. That’s what every purchase is quietly building toward.
This isn’t just about me either. It’s for everyone who has been with this team — Cavid and his family, Sarah, Brandon, Mary. Anyone who believed in this before it was anything. They’re part of why we keep going. We’re building something that takes care of all of us.
Times Have Changed.
Let me tell you — I sent 500 emails out. About 160 made it to the recipient. And then I learned I can’t do that. Culture shock doesn’t even cover it. That was how I was taught. That was what I did because it worked. Send emails. Call call call. Fax fax fax. And the people come, the money flows.
But times have changed.
I don’t mind paying for marketing now. But as a Marine, I know inevitably we’re gonna improvise, adapt, and overcome. Be a chameleon. All the signs say go for it. It’s working — we just gotta get in front of more people so they can do what… opt in.
I’ve learned that AI is a cheerleader and a hell of a sales vehicle. The tools made for us do ultimately stay true to their creators, but they do help. Thing is — as much as they know, they’re still babies, still learning. So my sales spidey sense had to kick in. I had to realize what was happening and adjust.
The Kids Said It Best.
Everyone I showed it to loved it. But the kids? They said, “Coach, why so much? I can’t get that — it costs too much.”
I stopped explaining honestly. They didn’t understand. So I just told them: tell other people to buy, because we want to give it all to all of you — we just have to make sales first. They don’t understand it’s been my time and my money. Time you can never get back.
But honestly? I would like my money back. And I want it to do everything I need it to do — pay for itself, and more importantly, get gear to my student athletes.
We Gonna Get There.
The journey continues. Every obstacle, every platform switch, every late night — it’s all for them. For the travel team. For the people who’ve been riding with us from day one.
We’re not just selling apparel. We’re funding futures.
We gonna get there. We gonna Fly! 🦅
